These always seem to have all a manner of engine issues...unless it’s fastidiously maintained mechanically, I wouldn’t be too excited myself...

Ready to be hotwired!

Honestly never seen one of these before. Can it be driven without either of the “backs”?

I remember seeing these in GT4 and thinking how weird they were

My dad had a red one of these when I was a little kid. He never switched out the back, though. =/

I remember in my home town there was a red one of these. I remember being a very confused. I almost always saw it at the same spot on the bus ride home(the owner must have gotten off work around the same time school got out, or something), but some days it was a square wagony thing, and some days it looked normal. it wasn’t until years later I learned what the Pulsar was.

I’d give my left lung to have that in my life

And you could get a Nissan-approved ceiling-mounted winch to change them out. Wonder how many of those are still around?

I love these cars, they’re so uncommon these days. That one looks to be in absurdly good condition, and with all the backs!

The fact that it comes with the 2 “trunk lids?” makes it a nice price in my book.

A Coupe/Wagon/Convertible hybrid?
How did this not catch on?!

And near a Tesla dealership ....
![]() 08/07/2015 at 14:01 |
|
Well, a tesla “store” since Utah has stupid anti-direct deal laws.
![]() 08/07/2015 at 14:06 |
|
Please explain.
Also, I understand it’s difficult to order a drink in a bar there ....

Utah is one of many states that has laws on the book that prevent manufactures of cars from selling their vehicles directly to the consumer. This is thanks to the powerful dealer lobby here. Its exactly as lame as it sounds. As for the drinks, I don’t drink but frankly whatever weird drinking laws the state has have been working great at keeping complainers off the ski hills and over into Colorado or California...so whatever it is I hope they keep it up.

It’s a double-edged sword - tourists. The get in my way all the time, think they can stroll three abreast on Lexington Ave., yet their presence keeps my taxes down and businesses in business.

Utah has plenty of tourism business as it is, I think we are at a nice balance point.
